Welcome to the Cambridge Racquets Club website, located at 46 Thornton Road, Cambridge, New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest in the community, we strive to provide a fantastic experience for both non-members and club members.
For those interested in booking a court, we offer the convenience of our online booking system called Pay2Play. Whether you're a club member or a non-member, you can easily book a court and make payment through this platform. Club members enjoy the benefit of booking without any additional fees. Non-members can simply sign up for Pay2Play, follow the easy instructions on our site, and receive a code for access to the club.
We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who attended our recent quiz night. Diddly squat took home the first-prize gift vouchers, generously provided by Mitre 10 Cambridge, Good Union, and Amber Garden Centre. The Cowboys secured second place, and the wooden spoon award went to the Richies. Special recognition goes to Alan's Circus Clowns for winning the best dressed competition, with the Red Hot team coming in second. We would also like to extend a massive thank you to all our sponsors who made the event possible: Mitre 10 Cambridge, Sportsworld Cambridge, Alpino, Amber Garden Centre, Nooan NZ Premier Socks, Smith Sports Shoes, Good Union, Kim, Rouge, Paperplus, and Commins Pharmacy.
We would like to inform our members and visitors that scanning into Cambridge Racquets Club is no longer required. Additionally, starting from Tuesday, April 5, the use of My Vaccine Pass is no longer mandatory. However, mask rules for indoor gatherings under the Red Alert setting remain unchanged. Tennis NZ has updated their guidance to reflect these changes, and you can find a summary on their website at https://tennis.kiwi/covid-19/.
Lastly, we would like to announce that the Annual General Meeting of the Cambridge Racquets Club was successfully held at our Clubrooms on Thornton Road on Monday, December 5, 2022, at 6:10 pm. Please refer to the meeting documents for further information.
