Welcome to Te Aroha Little Theatre, a beloved establishment located at 8 Honi Street in Te Aroha, New Zealand. With a strong history and a common passion for live theatre, the Te Aroha Dramatic Society has been entertaining and educating the community since 1949.

As a member of our theatre society, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of high-quality theatre productions throughout the year. From captivating works by New Zealand playwrights to internationally acclaimed performances, our goal is to both entertain and inspire our loyal supporters.

Located in a central area, our well-equipped theatre receives tremendous support from the community. We believe in providing people of all ages and backgrounds with the chance to get involved in every aspect of theatre production. Whether your interests lie in acting, backstage work, lighting and sound, advertising, marketing, or promotion, there's a place for you at Te Aroha Little Theatre.

Membership at Te Aroha Little Theatre is an incredible opportunity. For just $15 for individuals, $25 for couples, or $35 for families, you gain access to our productions, as well as discounts on costume hires. To renew your membership for the upcoming year, simply make a payment to our bank account using your name as a reference.

Additionally, our theatre is available for hire. Over the years, it has hosted musical concerts, school performances, writers groups, drama classes, and even served as the venue for a New Zealand short film premiere. We provide a versatile space for various events and performances.

In addition to our theatre, we also own and operate Radio Te Aroha. This community-run radio station publicizes local businesses, community groups, and showcases the talent of local music artists. For a remarkably affordable price of $100, businesses can advertise on our radio station for an entire year. It's an excellent opportunity to reach a wide audience.
