"Our first impression of the place was that they must have been incredibly busy because of the overflowing rubbish bin and uncleared tables. The pictures were taken just before we left, around 45 minutes after we arrived. No attempt had been made to remedy the dirty appearance of the establishment. We ordered from a kiosk for table delivery and put or number on the table. After a 30 minute pleasant conversation we wondered where our food was. It turns out our order was sitting on the pickup counter. When I went to the counter and asked where our order was, the person pointed at an order sitting on the pickup counter and said it'd been waiting for us. I showed the till receipt which clearly showed it was meant to be a table delivery. The response was 'It didn't show on our screen' as if that was the final decision. I told the young person I was not paying for cold food after wglhich they disappeared to talk to someone. The response was 'We will remake it for you The replacement meal was delivered quickly (but curtly) and with an extra (unexpected) burger. The Fanta was foul. It seemed like it hadn't been replaced, instead the ice melted and created a watered down unpalatable flavor. At no point of time was there any apology from any staff member. This was a truely unique experience from a very well known chain."
"A employee with a tattoo on her face told me rudely to eat at Subway because I ordered a meatless burger. This is the first time I have experienced this kind of discrimination and insulted in New Zealand. Already complained to McDonald's. Fries are already soft"
"Food was good, hot and fresh. We called in at lunchtime on a Sunday when it was busy. The spare tables hadnt been cleaned but a staff member quickly came to clean our table after we requested it. The ladies room needed a clean. A good place to stop if you want a quick bite."
"Newest Mc Donald’s in town, 3k from uni and just off SH1. Usually the drive thru is often busier than in-store. We arrived at 4 and there were only 4 customers inside. We placed the order and it was ready in less the 10’ for 1 gourmet creation, 2 bigmacs, 2 cheese burgers, fries, and drinks. Seems pretty much average for the franchise. Playground is small, enough to entertain the little ones. No self serving drinking machines, probably due to the abusing behavior of some. Overall, the visit was worth."
