"Cook Concreting & their team really delivered for our project, nothing was problem, Thanks for your help Team."
"Cook Concrete are a professional company that do a professional job. They recently laid a wash-pad outside a horse stable for us, this was completed to a high standard by a great crew of workers, that took pride in their work. I would use Rob and his crew again without hesitation. Well done boys."
"We used Cook Concrete as they were the contractors used by our building company. We had multiple issues and the end result was a compromise and sub-standard compared to if the job had been done right from the start. Most issues appeared to result from a lack of training and oversight of their staff. Robbie tried to remedy the situation and acknowledge the issues when raised, but did not proactively address them even when we saw them before us. Issues included: -Boxing being put up wrong twice (once identified by them, once by me). -Boxing being removed before the concrete was properly cured so it cracked on some slabs. The workers then tried to hide the issues by placing the cracked bits carefully back in place so the slabs looked whole -Garden edging cracking right through so it was completely lose The two issues above meant re-pours that resulted in a patchy look and inconsistency of the concrete - Concrete going off too quick resulting in poor finish and detail of corners which then had to be plastered to hide the defects -Edges not being straight so they had to be cut to get a straight edge - Exposed edges being rough and poorly finished so they had to be plastered to hide this - Expansion cuts not going all the way through resulting in cracks - Water blasting before sealing patchy -Careless water blasting meaning the stain/ wood of one area of our cedar house was damaged in a strip where it was water blasted accidentally -Someone not thinking when they were staining the slab and putting the bucket down resulting in a ring and drips where the container was sat on the concrete (in the most visible part of the patio) I didn't even go back them them about resolving the last two as was totally over the process by then. I would not use this business unless there is an experienced person in attendance 100% of the time (even that didn't stop issues however. Robbie did his best to address the issues (e.g. added an additional mowing strip to hide defects) but it took so much time and energy and resulted in un-necessary stress."
