Welcome to Parts & Service, the newest addition to downtown Hardy Street in New Zealand. Since our opening in late 2018, we have quickly become a popular destination for those seeking a unique and delightful dining experience.
Our standout feature is the coal-fired Josper Oven, which skillfully combines searing, smoking, and grilling techniques to create mouthwatering dishes. We understand that not everyone can plan ahead, so we reserve a number of tables each night for walk-in diners. However, if you prefer to secure your spot in advance, we highly recommend making a reservation from Wednesday to Saturday starting at 4.30pm.

"Very disappointing. We had dined here once before choosing "leave it to the chef" option and couldn't fault it. We had friends visiting from out of town so decided to do the same. 4 of the 7 dishes were seafood it would have been a good idea if the waiter had advised us that fish was the main component. If he had done this we would have chosen our own dishes. The clam was so tough we struggled to eat it, the gurnard was burnt, the buns with cheese were also burnt. 2 of our party found the steak too rare and had to send it back. We did complain but received little in response."
"Went here last night in a group of 4. Amazing venue that ticks all the boxes. The food is stunning and works so well in a small group setting due to the sharing concept of the menu. Would definitely visit again when in Nelson. We had the housemade bread with roast chicken butter, the oyster mushrooms, chicken thigh, wagyu, eggplant and the kumara dishes. All were 5/5. Service on point."

Normally this is a risky option for a vegetarian but the food was incredible, each dish was completely different from the last and every single dish was so so good! "So many positives. The scrumptious lemon infused vodka cocktails (tamarillo smash) were stand out. Service from when I walked in the door was impeccable. I ordered the mouth watering lamb shoulder. The sauce was so good I was tempted to lick my bowl in middle of resturant. Menu was outstanding. Mix of shared meals/sides and mains"
