NZTD has a rich history that dates back to our incorporation on November 18th, 2016. Prior to that, we operated under a different company since March 14th, 2002. The change to NZTD in 2016 came with a new focus and change in shareholding, which has allowed us to better serve our customers and suppliers.

Our journey in the timber industry began through the Director's involvement in SLM Limited. As a result, we were approached by shipping companies to assist in sourcing ship's dunnage. Since then, we have been supplying ship's dunnage within New Zealand and internationally. Over time, we expanded our offerings to include Douglas Fir for the Pacific islands and untreated timber for pallet and box manufacturers. Additionally, we now provide environmentally-friendly, safe outdoor decking and timber products.

At NZTD, we value the relationships we have built with our suppliers and customers. We consider them to be our best friends, as they support us and we support them. Our commitment to customer satisfaction extends beyond our product offerings. We can assist with fumigation needs and provide Certificates of Fumigation as required. We can also handle the entire exporting process, including Packing Declarations, Phytosanitary Certificates, and Chamber of Commerce Origin documents.
