"I have involved Pukete Neighbourhood House for Family Assistance for over five months now. Despite seeking the services of advocate support with WINZ representation I received replies in terms of weeks to months despite being in a life or death situation. I was neither able to obtain MSD's support for my medicinal cannibinoid use despite requiring a subsidy and proving that it fit all the adequate criteria. Nor was I able to have my disability allowance adjusted to reflect my requirements despite spending a long time calculating this and sending this through accurately. Despite attempting to do so for over a month I was not able to require support for a DNA Paternity test though my advocate support saught to see if this was available through multiple avenues of Work & Income's Disabilit Support. Despite me being in a life or death situation with my family trust housing arrangement and advising him of the details he neither raised concern with anyone nor did he see the severity of the situation affecting not only my physical health but my mental health. Please contact me back as soon as possible if you'd like to explain this lack of appropriate advocate support and know that I have reached out appropriately in this instance and it has come at huge expense and stress to myself and my family to obtain things like neurological exams that were required to obtain evidence to trial another subpar medication that is fully subsidised. This support should exist equally for all of New Zealander's and upon reaching out I should be able to trust my advocate support to do the things he has either requested of me or advised he can potentially give me support with just the same as any other New Zealander. Thank you all the same"
"Lovely place with genuinely caring people who do their best for the community."
"Has lots to offer. Great service. Awesome courses"
"Joined the craft group tonight and had a fantastic time. Lovely people and a very big room so I didn't feel crowded. Great place. Very friendly."
"I have been involved for over 30 years. Love going to Scone Wednesdays, the Information mornings, meet the candidates for both national goverment and local council. However the very special support during my Bipola episode was second to none. They new something was wrong and were their for me."
