To get started, simply provide us with your details, and we will arrange a time for your interlock installation at your nearest service center. Typically, we can have an alcohol interlock installed in your vehicle within 1–2 days.

An alcohol interlock is a breathalyzer that is wired into your car's ignition, recording every start, stop, test result, violation, and kilometers driven. This information is available as a report for authorities to view. Before starting your vehicle, you will need to provide an alcohol-free breath sample. Once you pass the test, you can start your vehicle.

While driving, your interlock will call for random tests, which must be taken to avoid violations. Each month, you need to take your vehicle back to a service center for data download and interlock calibration, which takes about 15 minutes. The monthly payment is made during the service.

To ensure accuracy, we recommend testing yourself on an accurate personal breathalyzer before blowing into your interlock, as a violation may occur if your alcohol level is high. Please do not use your interlock device as a tool to test your alcohol level, as this will be recorded as a violation and may extend the length of time you have your interlock installed.

If you are eligible for the alcohol interlock subsidy, the cost will be only $149 per month to lease an interlock. This subsidy covers the cost of your alcohol interlock license, installation, $50 per month towards the lease, removal, and your zero alcohol license at the end of the program. If you are not eligible for the subsidy, the standard pricing is $199 per month, and you will also need to pay for the initial installation and removal at the end of the program.

When you get your interlock installed, you will pay the installation fee and your first monthly lease to the service center. Additional fees may apply if you do not adhere to the program's requirements.

The interlock device is similar in appearance to a breathalyzer but is attached to your vehicle. It is roughly the size of your hand and can be mounted on a clip on your dashboard or stored near your gear lever. It does not need to be visible to anyone outside your vehicle.

Rest assured, the interlock unit is only connected to the wiring under the dash and under the bonnet, and at the end of the program, this wiring is restored to its pre-installation conditions.
