With a rich history dating back to 1920, the Asmuss Group has been a trusted supplier for many of New Zealand's largest industrial and construction projects. As one of the largest privately owned companies in its field, we have built lasting partnerships with our valued suppliers and customers.

One of our notable achievements includes the groundbreaking project of driving a 2km wastewater pipeline beneath a regional park into the Hauraki Gulf. Asmuss supplied 980 tonnes of 1219mm steel pipe and manufactured 2km of 1100mm PE pipe to tight tolerances, setting a world record in the process.

We were also involved in the Central Interceptor, a $1.2 billion wastewater tunnel project. Asmuss supplied 1400mm diameter heavy wall PE pipe and custom-made fabricated fittings using special grade polyethylene resin.

Another significant project we contributed to is the Civic Quarter Mixed-use Precinct, where the Civic Administration Building and its surroundings were transformed into new housing and commercial spaces. Asmuss supplied 400 tonnes of steel for this endeavor.

In the construction of a new cold store and office building, Asmuss supplied 600 tonnes of steel. The steel used for this cool store underwent Charpy testing to -30˚C, surpassing traditional testing standards.

The Lyttleton Port, which suffered extensive damage during the Canterbury earthquakes, underwent a Recovery Plan involving repairs, reconfiguration, and land reclamation. Asmuss played a vital role by supplying 8000 tonnes of steel casings and steel line pipe for this project.
