Welcome to The Salvation Army in Matamata, New Zealand! Located at 109 Broadway, our institution serves as a church, establishment, place of worship, point of interest, and store. We are dedicated to providing support and assistance to over 120,000 families and individuals in need every year. Our services include budgeting advice, food and clothing assistance, life skills programs, and other forms of comfort and support.

At The Salvation Army, our mission is to care for people, transform lives, and reform society. We are proud to announce that the Territorial Commander has approved various appointments within our organization, ensuring that we continue to fulfill our mission effectively.

Within our institution, the High Council chamber holds great significance as a sacred place of prayer. Recently, delegates from diverse age groups, cultures, and backgrounds participated in a meaningful event within this chamber. Additionally, we are excited to announce that registrations for this year's Thought Matters 2023 conference are now open. Join us and be inspired by our keynote speaker.

As an organization deeply committed to social justice, we hold politicians accountable for addressing pressing issues such as child poverty, jobs, incomes, and tax. Through our Social Policy and Parliamentary Unit, we actively engage with politicians to find solutions that will positively impact our community.
