Welcome to the Clinical Trials Unit, located at 848 Cameron Road, Tauranga, New Zealand. As an establishment dedicated to health and well-being, we are a hospital and a point of interest for individuals seeking innovative medical treatments and advancements.

At our institution, we prioritize building the future of health. Our team of dedicated physiotherapists, who are members of the APEX union, work tirelessly at Tauranga and Whakatāne Hospitals. Recently, they have issued strike notices to advocate for better working conditions and patient care.

We are proud to offer a one-day kidney transplant workup program for patients with Chronic Kidney Disease. This program allows individuals to complete numerous tests on the same day, significantly expediting the process for prospective recipients. Our commitment to efficiency and patient-centered care drives us to continually improve our services.

As part of our expansion and commitment to serving the community, we have opened Te Pa Harakeke, a state-of-the-art outpatient facility. This purpose-built facility has allowed us to relocate Tauranga Hospital's Sexual Health Clinic to brand new premises at 1378 Cameron Road, Greerton. We strive to provide a comfortable and modern environment for our patients.

We are also proud to highlight the selfless efforts of our staff members, Tracey Cumming and Charmaine Flynn-Hooker, who volunteer their own time for the organization Pacific Islands Pacemaker Services (PIPS). Their dedication to helping people who might otherwise face life-threatening situations is truly admirable.

Furthermore, our newly-established Wounds Clinic has proven to be invaluable to our patients, as exemplified by 83-year-old Marie Sutton's personal experience. Our commitment to comprehensive care ensures that individuals of all ages receive the attention and treatment they deserve.
