Te ao Māori, the Māori world, is an integral part of our programme. We embrace te reo Māori (Māori language) and ngā tikanga Māori (Māori customs and traditions) in our daily activities, ensuring that our children develop an appreciation and understanding of Māori culture.
We understand the importance of creating a sense of belonging for each child in our care. We provide meaningful opportunities for leadership and decision-making, empowering our children to become confident and independent individuals. Additionally, we work closely with our feeder schools to support a smooth transition for our children, ensuring continuity in their educational journey.
We welcome all children and their families, and we are committed to providing support for parents of children with diverse needs. We offer regular parent evenings, whānau events, and 20 hours free education, among other services, to ensure that both children and their families feel supported and valued.
