Welcome to Northlands Cattery, located in Christchurch on Main North Road. As an establishment and point of interest in veterinary care, we offer top-notch accommodations for your beloved feline friends.

Our cattery boasts a variety of options to suit your cat's needs. With 33 standard rooms, we can comfortably accommodate two cats from the same household. Additionally, we have six small cages for individual cats and one spacious family suite that can accommodate up to three cats. Rest assured that only cats from the same family will be housed together, ensuring a harmonious environment.

Our cattery suites are designed with your cat's comfort and entertainment in mind. They are spacious, allowing for jumping and climbing, and each suite features a window for your cat to enjoy the view. The rooms are warm, cosy, well-lit, and well-ventilated. We provide hidey-hole beds with soft bedding to keep your furry friend comfortable during their stay. If your cat has a favorite blanket, they are more than welcome to bring it along to make them feel even more at home.

At Northlands Cattery, we prioritize your cat's health and nutrition. Our guests are fed Royal Canin dry food, which is appropriate for their specific life stage. If your cat requires a special, prescription, or preferred diet, you can provide it, and we will ensure it is given to them. Alternatively, we can source the food for your cat and charge accordingly.

Our dedicated cattery staff are trained to monitor your cat's health and well-being. If any signs of ill-health are observed, they will promptly report it to our veterinary staff for assessment. Rest assured that our vet is available seven days a week, ensuring your cat's health is our top priority. Additionally, one advantage of having a Boarding Cattery at a vet clinic is that routine procedures such as dental work, grooming, or desexing can be done while your cat is in our care, saving you an extra visit.

Convenience is key at Northlands Cattery. You can drop off or collect your cat during our specified times throughout the week, ensuring flexibility for your schedule. Please note that cats admitted before 4 pm will be charged for that day, and cats collected after 10 am will also be charged for that day. However, if you require different arrangements, please make prior arrangements with our Cattery Manager.

We offer competitive pricing for our services. Standard rooms are priced at $20 per day, while small cages are $17 per day (not suitable for active cats or stays longer than five days). If you have two cats from the same household, they can stay together in the same unit for a rate of $35 per day. For larger families, our family suite can accommodate two cats for $40 per day or three cats for $50 per day.

Please take note of our peak periods, including December 15th - January 15th, Waitangi Day, Easter weekend, Anzac Day, Kings Birthday weekend, Labour Day weekend, Canterbury Show weekend, and Matariki weekend. Additionally, during school holidays from April 6th - April 24th, June 30th - July 17th, and September 22nd - October 9th, we experience high demand, so early booking is recommended.
