At Raglan Kindergartens Waikato, we pride ourselves on having qualified and passionate teachers who are dedicated to providing the best education and care for your child. Our large outdoor spaces allow children to explore and engage with nature, fostering a love for the environment.

We offer transition to school programs, ensuring that your child is well-prepared for their next educational journey. Additionally, we provide 20 hours of Early Childhood Education (ECE) each week, making quality education accessible to all families.

Our institution is committed to affordability, with 20 hours of free ECE available for children from the age of 2. For any additional hours, we charge a nominal fee of $4.00 per hour. Please note that if you have utilized any of your 20 ECE hours at another service, the fee increases slightly to $5.25 per hour.

Raglan Kindergartens Waikato is situated in Whaingaroa, Raglan, a town known for its artistic community and its deep connection with Tangaroa (the god of the sea) and Papatuanuku (the earth mother). We offer a wide range of learning experiences, including numeracy and numbers, literacy and language, nature and science, computers and technology, puzzles and games, creative arts, sand and water play, trips, and a transition to school program. Your child will also have the opportunity to build friendships and socialize with their peers.

Each day at Raglan Kindergartens Waikato is structured to provide a balanced and enriching experience for your child. Our mornings start with a warm welcome and child-led learning activities. Mat time is a special part of our day, where children come together to share information, stories, songs, movement, drama, and waiata (Māori songs).

After morning tea, we engage in tidy-up time, preparing for the next part of our day. Morning children bid farewell, while school day children enjoy lunch, and afternoon children join in for more activities and child-led learning. We have designated times for afternoon tea, tidy-up time, and another mat time before saying goodbye to the children at the end of the day.
