At McElwains Auctions, we understand the importance of providing our customers with the opportunity to view our extensive collection of items before making a purchase. To facilitate this, we offer exclusive viewing days every Monday and Tuesday prior to our auctions. It is during these days that you can explore our wide range of cars, furniture, and home goods, ensuring you make an informed decision.
For your convenience, our post-auction pickup days are scheduled for Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. This allows you ample time to collect your purchased items and make arrangements for transportation. Please note that viewing is not available during the week outside of the designated viewing days.
For those who wish to inquire about our inwards goods or schedule an appointment, we are open on weekdays from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. However, please be advised that inwards goods visits require an appointment to ensure a seamless experience.
In addition to our Hamilton location, we also have a branch in Tauranga. Similar to our Hamilton premises, viewing days are exclusively available on Mondays and Tuesdays before our auctions. Post-auction pickup times in Tauranga are from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Then you are sent an email saying “we will cancel the sale” then today get an account suspension for non payment. Pretty unfair in my book."
