Our firm was founded in 2023 by John Dallison, who made the move from the Dallison Stone partnership to establish his own practice. John has been practicing law in Christchurch since 1986 and has over 39 years of legal experience. He started his career working alongside his father Gerald at Harold Smith & Dallison before the firm became Dallison Stone when Bevan Stone joined the partnership in 2008. Now, continuing the work of the previous firms, John leads Dallison & Co with a practical and strategic approach to each matter.

He graduated from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Laws in 2019 and was admitted to the bar in late 2020. Brendan specializes in property, commercial, trust, and relationship property matters. His client-focused approach ensures that the legal process is simplified and that clients are kept informed every step of the way.

Our team also includes Annaleise, who started her legal career with us in 2017 as a receptionist and has since become a registered Legal Executive. She is known for her keen eye for detail and efficiency in property and conveyancing matters. Leanne, with over 35 years of experience, manages our Trust Account and handles client transactions and financial matters. Karen, an experienced legal secretary with over 30 years of experience, brings a wealth of knowledge in property, trust, and estate work. Chloe, our dedicated receptionist turned legal secretary, takes great pride in providing excellent service to our clients.
