"Such an awesome experience phoned the Lovisa in bayfair yesterday to get my daughters ears done as we are from rotorua (my daughter is 3 they dont ears piercings for under 5s in rotorua anymore) the friendly staff (Ruvee) I think her name was suggested we came today. We did got them done, was given good information in regards to maintenance and keeping them clean ect. my daughter loves them such friendly staff my niece also got her ears done aswell so awsome highly recommend."
"We stopped in on the off chance we could get my daughters ears pierced today. The girl who was working there (bayfair) today did it straight away! She was so lovely, kind and informative. My daughter felt really comfortable with her. You don’t often get customer service like that these days and I was blown away. My daughter is so happy! Thanks again"
"Great variety of jewellery, store looks great. I will say though that the manager? Looked as if she didn’t even want to be there. No smile or enthusiasm, lacking customer service. The worker on the other hand was pleasant."
"Staff fine on day of purchase. Daughter bought a ring for $35. Less than 24 hours later the ring band snapped off. We live in Whakatane and did not want to travel nearly 2 hours return trip for a $35 ring. Tried calling the store where we purchased it from several times, with no answer. Had trouble trying to find another way of contact. Finally found an email for customer services. They replied quickly which was good, they asked for a copy of the receipt and a photo of the ring which I did. ( Understandable) We ended up doing a unplanned visit back to Bay Fair (not prepared, no phone with photo or receipt) but I thought I would pop in to ask a staff member if there is a phone number to contact someone because I just keep getting automated replies. The assistant who I think was the manager already had a face on her full of attitude so I wasn't going to accomplish much here either. She basically said yes, well they are too busy in the shop to answer the phone (they never look so busy when we are in there) so hard to believe. She said automated emails just happen and I will have to return it to the shop 14 days after the purchase which meant I only had 7 days left at this time. I told her I wouldn't be back in the next 7 days, so basically still getting no where. I asked for another contact since having no luck with automated emails and in-store, With sarcasm she said well who is it you want to talk to, I said anyone else that can make a fair and reasonable call. She said she would give me the Sales Managers mobile, she would need a time I would be calling. I said a time in the morning, response being oh no that won't work it is a busy time. I said you tell me a time and I will call, she said no, you need to give me a time to make sure it can be done. She said how about the evening? I said okay 6 pm, not that won't work because they are close to closing. It was becoming a joke, I would have laughed if I wasn't angry at the same time. Not many teenagers theses days can afford to spend money on jewellery and my daughter was treating herself with hard earned money. You can not expect a 17 year old to spend petrol on a 2 hour drive to return the broken ring, worth $35, surely someone can have some common sense and understand that. I would have even accepted an offer of a voucher to be sent out, but it was never an option. I got back home to find an email from customer services to say they are approving a one off replacement or refund and to return to the store. Oh my goodness! No one gets it!. I see at the bottom of the receipt it states 30 days to return so I don't know where the sales person in the shop got the 14 days from. The shop is probably fine to deal with if you live near but be aware if you are just passing through and do not live near a Lovisa Store, you are out of luck. Shocking service, very unfair and unacceptable!"
