Unfortunately, family violence tends to increase during the Christmas holidays. It is disheartening to know that only a quarter of these incidents are reported to the police. If you witness, hear, or suspect that someone you know is being hurt, please do not ignore it. Your intervention could make a significant difference in someone's life.

Christmas is a time that should be filled with peace and goodwill. However, the stress of the holiday season can sometimes lead to tension and violence within families. We want to ensure that this summer is a safe and happy time for your family, and we are here to help.

As part of our commitment to raising awareness about family violence, we invite Aucklanders to join us on November 24th in Britomart's Takutai Square.
