Dog exercise area
About the Business
Welcome to the Dog Exercise Area in Ngāruawāhia, located in the beautiful region of Waikato, New Zealand. Our establishment is a park specifically designed for our furry friends to enjoy a safe and fun environment for exercise and play.
At the Dog Exercise Area, we understand the importance of providing a dedicated space for dogs to run, socialize, and enjoy the outdoors. Our park is equipped with various amenities to ensure a pleasant experience for both dogs and their owners. We have spacious fenced areas where dogs can roam freely off-leash, allowing them to stretch their legs and burn off some energy. The park also features agility equipment, such as hurdles and tunnels, to enhance the physical and mental stimulation of your canine companions.
We are committed to continuously improving our facilities to meet the needs of our community. Currently, we are in the process of making exciting improvements to the Paterson Park Playground in Ngaruawahia. We value your opinion, and there are two options to choose from. We invite you to have your say and let us know your preference.
In addition to our dog exercise area, the Waikato district offers a range of projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the region's economic and connectivity benefits. The recent Infrastructure Committee meeting decision has signaled progress on railway stations in northern Waikato, promising potential growth and improved accessibility.
We also value your input on Council's process to deal with dangerous building issues. Our consultation on the Dangerous, Affected, and Insanitary Buildings Policy is open until 22 September. This policy outlines the steps we take to investigate concerns about buildings and ensure public safety.
Attention all creatives in the Waikato District! The Creative Communities Scheme funding is open for one more week. Don't miss this opportunity to support your artistic endeavors.
For those interested in local events and licenses, we have applications for the renewal and variation of Club Licenses at McVie Road, Huntly, as well as new on licenses at 29 Bow Street, Raglan. There are also renewals of off licenses at 8 Liverpool Street, Tuakau, and 3 Bankart Street, Raglan.

Reviews
"Awesome to have a fenced place to take the dog, need more of these spaces around the place makes life easy and gets to meet dogs."
"Great park to exercise your dog and you meet other friendly dog owners. The dog park has sufficient space, shade and equipment to train your dog or just go for a leisurely stroll with your dog. I also like how it has a water bowl and hose supplied and how it informs dog owners to leave it clean after using it. Great spot."
"Large running area disposal bin is right by main gate by the train track entrance and theirs a secondary entrance by the main rd side also"
