On this day, 8000 dedicated volunteers will hit the streets across the country, collecting funds to help the Cancer Society continue its vital work. We are excited to announce that Hei Āhuru Mōwai (Māori Cancer Leadership Aotearoa) and Te Kāhui Matepukupuku o Aotearoa (the Cancer Society of New Zealand) are opening applications for the third annual round of the Māori Cancer Researcher Awards. This initiative aims to support and encourage Māori researchers in the field of cancer, promoting advancements in understanding and treatment.
