Rainbow Kids Childcare

Rainbow Kids Childcare is a modern and purpose-built establishment located in the heart of Hamilton, New Zealand. Situated at Anglesea Street, 191, our center is designed to provide a nurturing and safe environment for children aged from 0 to 5 years old. With a license to accommodate up to 115 children, we pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality care and learning experience.

Our center boasts five separate learning areas, each tailored to cater to the developmental needs of different age groups. In addition, we have three spacious outdoor playground areas where children can freely explore and engage in physical activities. We believe in the importance of play as a valuable learning opportunity, and our dedicated teaching team encourages child-led learning in a supportive and stimulating environment.

At Rainbow Kids, we understand the significance of building strong relationships between tāmariki (children), Kaiako (teachers), and whānau (families). Guided by respectful teaching and learning practices, we foster a professional learning community where everyone feels a deep sense of attachment to our center. We prioritize creating a safe and loving atmosphere filled with aroha (compassion) to ensure that every child feels at home.

Our passionate and experienced educators are dedicated to providing the best education and care for each child. With over 80% of our staff being fully qualified early childhood educators, you can trust that your child is in capable hands. Before your child's enrollment, our teachers will discuss their individual needs with you and ask you to fill out our 'Individual routine and All About Me' forms. This helps us understand your child's routines and support their smooth transition into our center.

We take great pride in our natural surroundings at Rainbow Kids. Our outdoor area is spacious and features pin oak trees, vegetable gardens, and fruit trees. We believe that connecting with nature is essential for children's holistic development and we encourage outdoor exploration and engagement.

Nutrition is a priority at Rainbow Kids, and we have a full-time experienced cook who prepares delicious and healthy meals and snacks for our children. We provide morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack, taking into consideration any food allergies your child may have. Our cook and teachers are always available to address any dietary concerns or preferences.

To ensure a smooth transition for your child, we recommend visiting our center at least twice before their official start date. This allows them to become familiar with their new teachers and environment, making their adjustment easier and more comfortable.
