At Caring Kids, we pride ourselves on providing a warm and welcoming home-like environment for children of all ages. We believe in the values of Manaakitanga (caring and respect) and Whanaungatanga (building strong relationships), which are essential in developing and strengthening connections with our children and their whānau (extended family).

Our curriculum is designed to incorporate opportunities for children to engage with, explore, and respect the natural world. We encourage our tamariki (children) to act as Kaitiaki (guardians), taking on responsibilities for and developing an appreciation of their natural environment. This focus on nature is woven throughout our daily activities and learning experiences.

We understand the importance of play in a child's development, and our programme celebrates its benefits. Play encourages creativity, imagination, problem-solving, and physical skills. Our small mixed-aged centre allows tamariki to interact with and care for their siblings, whānau, and peers, fostering essential social skills and creating a strong sense of belonging and contribution.
