At Aberdeen Kindergartens Waikato, we prioritize the development and success of our young learners. Our qualified staff carefully plan programs that align with the early childhood curriculum, ensuring that children become competent, confident, and successful learners. We offer 20 ECE (Early Childhood Education) hours each week, providing ample opportunities for children to explore and grow.

Our teachers provide learning extensions that prepare children for school, covering a wide range of subjects such as numeracy, literacy, nature and science, computers and technology, puzzles and games, creative arts, and more. Through sand and water play, field trips, and our transition to school program, children also develop important social skills and friendships.

Each day at Aberdeen Kindergartens Waikato is filled with engaging activities. During mat time, children come together to share daily information, stories, songs, movement, drama, and waiata (traditional Māori songs). Our daily schedule includes welcome and farewell times, learning opportunities led by children, and breaks for morning tea and afternoon tea.

We offer flexible attendance options to accommodate the needs of families. Our extended day program runs from any 6.5 to 7.5 hours between 8am and 3.30pm, while our morning program spans any 4 to 4.5 hours between 8am and 12.30pm. For those who prefer afternoon sessions, we offer a program from 12.30pm to 3.30pm.

One of the highlights of Aberdeen Kindergartens Waikato is that we offer free education for 20 hours per week for children aged 2 and above. However, please note that if you have attested any of your 20 ECE hours at another service, there will be a nominal fee of $5.25 per hour.
