Kidz Korner Toy Library

Welcome to Kidz Korner Toy Library, a friendly and vibrant institution located in Hamilton, New Zealand. As a not-for-profit community resource, we are proud to be offered under the umbrella of Chartwell Cooperating Church and run by a dedicated voluntary committee, with the assistance of a paid Librarian and the support of our valued members.

At Kidz Korner, we have a vast collection of over 650 different toys, games, puzzles, dress-up costumes, sporting equipment, and ride-on toys available for borrowing. Our toys cater to children between the ages of 0 to 8 years, ensuring that every child can find something to spark their imagination and promote their skill development.

Our primary goal is to promote fun, creativity, and play to support and nurture children's development. We carefully select well-made toys that foster imagination and skill-building, creating an environment where children can learn and grow through play. By encouraging quality playing time with children, we also aim to strengthen family bonds and promote positive relationships.

At Kidz Korner, we are committed to minimizing our environmental impact through the principles of reducing, reusing, and recycling. By borrowing toys from our library, families can contribute to sustainable practices while still providing their children with a wide range of play options.

We are always on the lookout for passionate individuals to join our committee and help run this beloved community resource. Our committee consists of specific roles, including a chairperson, treasurer, toy buyer, and secretary, as well as general members who contribute their unique skills and ideas.

Our operating hours are as follows:

- Tuesday: 9:30am – 11:00am

- Saturday: 10:00am – 11:30am

You can find us conveniently located inside Chartwell Cooperating Church on the Corner of Comries Road and Bellmont Avenue, Chartwell, Hamilton. We are just a short distance away from Westfield Chartwell, and ample parking is available right outside our door.
