Our skilled Surgeon, John Bridgman, along with our Restorative Specialist, Andrew Newsom, and Dental Technician, Ben Cowman, have been working together for over 8 years to provide full mouth implant treatments. The surgical procedures are performed at the McIndoe Clinic in the rooms of Tauranga Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. With the use of intravenous sedation, our patients can undergo pain-free and stress-free surgeries. After a short break, patients are transferred to the rooms of Prosthodontist Andrew Newsom, where a pre-made denture is fixed onto the implants. By the end of the day, patients can leave with a fixed temporary denture, which serves as a trial for 6-12 months before the permanent denture is made.

One of the main advantages of our single-day treatment is the significant reduction in postoperative pain. The fully supported new teeth eliminate pressure on the recently operated gums, resulting in a more comfortable recovery. Additionally, the fixed and stable teeth minimize the occurrence of ulcers compared to traditional dentures.

Our Prosthodontist, Andrew Newsom, holds an impressive list of qualifications and experience. He began his dental career at the University of Otago and completed a diploma at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London. He then obtained his specialist degree in Prosthodontics from Sydney University and currently works as a consultant for Tauranga Public Hospital. With over 15 years of experience in complex implant cases, Andrew is committed to delivering exceptional results.

Our Surgeon, John Bridgman, is a native New Zealander who completed his Dental Degree at Otago University. During his time working at Christchurch Hospital, he developed a keen interest in the surgical aspects of dentistry. With his expertise and dedication, John ensures that every patient receives the highest level of care and attention.
