About the Business
Welcome to the Canterbury Recreational Aircraft Club, located at Fernside, Merton Road, 20 in New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to promoting safe aviation and fostering a close-knit community of aviation enthusiasts.
At our Rangiora-based club, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our members. We provide a supportive environment where friendships are formed and aviation knowledge is shared. Our club facilities are designed to ensure the comfort and convenience of our members. We are proud to offer two large hangars where members can securely house their aircraft.
In terms of aircraft, our club owns three exceptional models. We have two 80hp Tecnam P92 Echoes, registered as ZK-RGA and ZK-RGC. Additionally, we have a 100hp Tecnam P92 Echo Mk II, registered as ZK-RGE. These aircraft are well-maintained and provide our members with thrilling flying experiences.
But our offerings don't stop there. Through our network of members, we also provide access to training in other 3-axis and weight-shift aircraft. This allows our members to expand their aviation skills and explore different flying techniques.
