Welcome to Down Thyme Restaurant & Cafe, located at 31 Orchard Road in Waihi, New Zealand. As a cafe, establishment, food point of interest, and restaurant, we are the perfect destination for a delicious meal and a memorable dining experience.

Our opening hours are as follows: Wednesday to Saturday, we are open from 11 am to 4 pm for lunch and from 4 pm until late for dinner. On Sundays, we serve lunch from 11 am to 4 pm, and in the evenings, we are closed. Please note that on Mondays and Tuesdays, we are closed all day.

Exciting news for 2023! We will be open throughout the Winter with our regular opening hours. So, no matter the season, you can always come and enjoy our delightful cuisine.

In addition to our dine-in services, we now accept takeaway orders for lunch (all day) from our menu. To place your order, simply give us a call at 07 863 8980. We are thrilled to offer this option for your convenience.
