Papatoetoe Athletics

Welcome to Papatoetoe Athletics Club, located at 17A Omana Road, Auckland. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to developing your child's running, throwing, and jumping skills, which are essential for all competitive team sports like rugby, league, and netball.

At Papatoetoe Athletics, we believe in fostering a competitive edge through regular racing and competing against each other and other athletes. Throughout the season, we organize a number of athletics events where your child can showcase their abilities. One of our strengths lies in the Auckland and Counties Manukau Relay Championships, where we traditionally excel.

Individually, athletes can also compete in their age groups against athletes from across the Auckland region. Additionally, during the Christmas holidays, they have the opportunity to participate in the North and South Island Colgate Games, held in different venues throughout New Zealand. From the age of 10, some of our athletes can even compete in the Trans-Tasman Competition, held alternate years in New Zealand.

At the primary and secondary school level, our athletes have the chance to represent their schools regionally and nationally, and from there, they can progress to international competitions. We are proud to support our athletes in their journey to reach their full potential.

If you have three or more children, we offer a family discount option. This means that the two oldest children will pay full price, and the youngest subsequent children will receive a $10 refund once we confirm that all three or more children are from the same household. To ensure a smooth registration process, all payments must be made online using a credit or debit card through our secure online registration portal. Additionally, we kindly request that you bring a birth certificate or passport for each child joining the club, as we are required to verify their birth date.
