"Great for dog walks/walks in general. Definitely need boots on wet conditions as some of the path has been sloshed in mud."
"This is a fantastic please to take your dog off lead. A small walking loop that is flat. Warning: You may need gumboots after a heavy rain or just cut your walk short."
"Went for a stroll through the dog friendly Waiatarua Reserve this morning and had a great time, so many happy four legged friends around for my dog Ziggy to meet and greet, there are some great tracks to walk around and we even found this playground which had a basketball hoop and skate ramp! Will be back here for sure. James Ashwin Kakapo Business Sales"
"It's a great place to take a dog for a walk of leash. The loop is a nice walk and there are a few side tracks as well. In wet times there are lots of mud puddles, so if you don't want a dirty dog after your walk, maybe pass on this wetland. There is a pond setup for dog swimming as well as part or the loop."
"Great off-leash Park for walking your dog. My dog just loves this park and starts crying with excitement about half a kilometre before we get there because she loves it THAT much! Also lovely to see the variety of birds - ducks, black swans and herons at ground level and tūī, kākāriki and fantails flying in and out of trees!"
