"I was preparing myself to pay the initial quote for WoF, estimates tend to be ‘ball park’ numbers. But since it was urgent and within the price range of past tire/tread replacements I thought the price range was standard. After the Job was done I’m glad to say I am pleased with the service. I’m skeptical of Car shops because of the stereotypes of being overcharged but I felt that this shop’s (I’m assuming) head mechanic/manager is a very honest professional. My rear tires were replaced and switched with the front tires to help the brakes keep optimal traction. An Act done out of initiative and one I give due credit. Keep in mind I’m not a mechanic or familiar with car repairs beyond changing the oil, battery and wheel. So, I am most appreciative that the repair costs were within reason. And communication kept short and concise. This is the first auto shop I’ve been to in Auckland (thanks to the reviews) and for the foreseeable future will keep as my ‘go to’ option. The shop is down a driveway with a sign out front. So it is pretty tucked away from the main road but conveniently located near the train station."
