Each year, we have the privilege of helping over 120,000 families and individuals through various means, including budgeting advice, food and clothing assistance, life skills programs, and other forms of comfort and support. Our mission at The Salvation Army is to care for people, transform lives, and reform society, and we are committed to fulfilling this mission in every way we can.

In addition to our community work, we are excited to announce that our store has been approved by the Territorial Commander for several important appointments. This recognition speaks to our dedication and commitment to serving our customers and the wider community.

At the Whangaparaoa Family Store, we believe in the power of unity and inclusivity. We welcome delegates from all ages, cultures, and backgrounds to participate in various events and conferences that we organize throughout the year. One such event is the Thought Matters 2023 conference, which is now open for registrations. We are thrilled to announce that our keynote speaker for this year's conference is a renowned expert in their field.

In addition to our community initiatives, we also engage in important discussions on pressing issues. Our recent focus has been on child poverty, and we have invited politicians to explain their plans for reducing it. We believe that jobs, incomes, and tax are also crucial topics that need attention, and we have launched a campaign to address these concerns.
