In 2016, Darren Knight took over the business from founders Mark Middleton and Sheryl Holland, who retired after years of dedicated service. Darren brings with him a wealth of experience, having successfully grown an accounting practice in the Warkworth/North Auckland region for 12 years. He shares the same passion for property investment as Mark and Sheryl and has been instrumental in the development and sale of numerous small to medium-sized businesses. With his background in owning retail businesses, Darren offers valuable first-hand knowledge on various aspects of running a small business, from pricing strategies to HR issues. He prides himself on effective communication and providing exceptional support to our clients. Outside of work, Darren enjoys spending quality time with his family, indulging in activities like surfing, fishing, travelling, and savoring good food and wine.

Rangika, a Chartered Accountant in both New Zealand and Sri Lanka, joined our team in 2003. With over 17 years of experience in SME Accounting and Taxation, she completed her Postgraduate degree in Accountancy at Massey University in 2014. Rangika has previously worked at EY in Sri Lanka and brings a wealth of knowledge to our institution. When she's not working, Rangika enjoys spending time with her family, indulging in classical music, watching movies, and exploring different travel destinations.

Chandima joined Middleton Holland in 2008 and has over 10 years of experience as a professional accountant. Before joining our team, she worked as a Senior Auditor for Price Waterhouse Coopers in Sri Lanka. Chandima is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants and The Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka. She holds a degree in Accountancy and is also an accredited Xero Live consultant. Chandima is passionate about connecting with people and has a deep love for travel.

Udeshika, who joined our team in 2019, has an impressive professional background. She started her career as an Accountant at Deloitte Sri Lanka and then spent 13 years as the Director of Finance for a subsidiary of a multinational logistics company. Prior to joining Middleton Holland, Udeshika worked as an Accountant for Thirty Seven South Limited. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, holds a degree in Business Administration, and recently completed her MBA at the University of Otago. Udeshika is excited to be part of our team and is dedicated to contributing to our organization's growth and success. In her free time, she loves to travel, explore new countries, and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. She also enjoys spending quality time with her husband, savoring a glass of wine, and taking her dogs for walks.

Caroline, our talented receptionist, joined Middleton Holland in February 2023. With her extensive office administration experience, she ensures smooth operations and provides excellent customer service to our clients. Outside of work, Caroline enjoys traveling, going on interesting walks, and cherishing moments with her family and friends.

We are also proud to introduce Ben, the founder of HomeBoost Mortgages, who joined our team in 2016. With a strong commitment to providing customized advice, Ben focuses on residential lending and assists clients in achieving their financial goals. He specializes in working with self-employed individuals and business owners, understanding the complexities of bank policies and optimizing lending opportunities. Ben recognizes the significant changes in the lending environment and offers free consultations to discuss the options available for our clients to fulfill their property aspirations.
