Welcome to ActivZone, located at 30 Downing Street, Auckland, New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest, ActivZone offers a wide range of activities and amenities to ensure a fun and active experience for all.

With a giant rink, state-of-the-art lighting and sound system, skate shop, café, and indoor sports arena, ActivZone is the ultimate space for people to meet, hang out, play, and get active. Our facility is designed to cater to individuals of all skill levels, whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned skater.

Don't have skates? No problem! We have a range of quality Bauer and Mission rollerblades and skates available for hire in various sizes. You can choose from US10 youth sizes up to US13 adult sizes.

At ActivZone, we also host exciting events such as skate parties, complete with costumes, games, and prizes. You can find all the details of each event on our Facebook page events tab and on OurAuckland. Just search for ActivZone and join in on the fun!

Our operating hours vary depending on the school term and holidays. During school term, we are open from Monday to Thursday, 12pm-2pm, and on weekends from 1pm-3pm. Please note that we are closed on all public holidays that fall on weekdays. During school holidays, our operating hours are Monday to Friday, 11am-4pm, and on weekends from 1pm-4pm. Again, we are closed on public holidays that fall on weekdays.

ActivZone is also proud to host various sports clubs and organizations. The North Shore Artistic Roller Skating Club practices at our facility, and you can find more information on their Facebook page or by emailing nsarsc@outlook.com. We also have an inline rink and instructors for all keen inline hockey participants. Additionally, we are honored to host the Auckland Roller Derby League (ARDL). For more information, please visit the ARDL website. The Papatoetoe Roller Sports Club also trains at ActivZone, so if you're interested in playing, feel free to email them.

In addition to our regular activities, we love hosting sports events that encourage our community to get active. From inline hockey championships to boxing club nights, our spaces are versatile and suitable for a variety of events.

If you're looking to celebrate a birthday or host a party, we offer two fantastic packages. Our Skate 'n' Bounce package includes exclusive use of the skating rink, sports equipment hire, and a bouncy castle. We also provide two free ActivZone passes for the birthday child. Alternatively, our Party Skate packages include entry to the ActivZone Indoor Sports Arena, skate hire, party room hire, and two free ActivZone passes for the birthday child. You can also opt for a skating instructor for an additional fee.

Please note that a $50 deposit is required for each birthday party booking. We also offer discounts for off-peak times, which are from 9am-3pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Regular hirers, who hire a venue we manage 10 times or more over the calendar year, can enjoy a 20% discount off the standard hourly rate. Additionally, community groups that meet certain criteria can receive a 30% discount off the standard hourly rate. These discounts cannot be combined and have a maximum discount of 55%.
