Reviews
"I would give Kings 5 stars if it wasn’t for Mr Massey."
"Both my boys board there and are very happy. A lot of opportunities to try out new hobbies and some really nice teachers. The school is very anti bullying so I think there are a few fake reviews here by people who have never been connected with the school. Kids from all backgrounds attend and there is definitely a place for everyone."
"A school that takes 25,000NZD a year from oblivious parents who throw their children at uncaring and uneducated staff, spoilt students and institutional issues is undoubtedly a scam. King's College fails to achieve or even address its four key statements, providing inferior education compared to various other secondary schools in Aotearoa, perpetuating moral problems and blindly watching the school staff and students destroy each others' "character". There is no room for individualism when financial stability defines students' futures, and King's College utilizes this sad problem to aggravate issues within the school, such as bullying, sexism, racism and, of course, classism. But nobody related with King's bats an eye at such serious problems, birthing some of the very worst graduates of this nation. The irony of King's advocation for moral values is not lost as the school itself is confused whether to push Anglican traditions or monetary gain. With one of the most shocking youth death rates tailing the school's name, its futile attempts to uphold its lost legacy is sad. King's College sits on a crumbling throne made of money and lies."
"Maybe don't send your girls here. They don't do much for girls. Only care about there reputation. They also only care about there first XV so they usually get special treatment around school by teachers and staff."
"Education wise cannot fault the school, did my daughter well. Unfortunately the boarding element let the school down a little, but after moving to become a day student she blossomed, still worthy of 4 stars, great school"
