Welcome to Busy Bees Pakuranga, a renowned establishment located at 73 Reeves Road in Auckland, New Zealand. As a dedicated early learning institution, we recognize the vital role we play in our local community and the incredible opportunity we have to positively impact the lives of our young tamariki during their crucial stages of development.

At Busy Bees Pakuranga, our main goal is to foster the growth of active and confident learners who possess critical thinking skills, a thirst for knowledge, and the ability to seek and apply information to the best of their abilities. We take immense pride in our beautiful and expansive outdoor space, which is thoughtfully designed with age-appropriate areas that encourage exploration, creativity, and physical activity. Additionally, all of our rooms are well-equipped and resourced to cater to the specific developmental needs of each age group.

Incorporating our local community into our curriculum is of utmost importance to us. We regularly organize visits to the library and our local primary school, providing our children with valuable experiences and opportunities for growth. Moreover, we are fortunate to have our very own mini hall, where we conduct various learning experiences to further enhance their educational journey.

Celebrating and embracing the diverse cultures that make up our center community is a core value at Busy Bees Pakuranga. We believe in recognizing and valuing each child's individuality, their unique backgrounds, and incorporating these elements into our day-to-day curriculum. This inclusive approach helps foster a sense of belonging and acceptance among our students. We also take pride in our center traditions, such as farewells when children transition to school at the age of five.

Nourishment plays a vital role in a child's overall well-being, and that is why our in-house cook prepares freshly made meals each day using our Nourish menus and recipes, which are based on the New Zealand Heart Foundation Tohu Manawa Ora | Healthy Heart Award for Early Learning Centres. We believe that by providing nourishing food, children are fueled to thrive both physically and mentally, while also enjoying the benefits of coming together and connecting as a group during mealtimes. Additionally, our teachers engage the children in regular baking activities, which not only enhance their fine motor skills but also provide them with opportunities to learn about food preparation and simple mathematical concepts.

Busy Bees Pakuranga comprises six amazing rooms that cater to children at each age and stage of their development. Our Seedlings and Saplings room is dedicated to nurturing and building relationships with our youngest learners (0-2 years). In Sprouts (3-4 years), we create an engaging and enriching learning experience tailored to the needs of this age group, ensuring equitable learning for all children. Our Shoots room (4-5 years) offers a transition-to-school program that prepares children for the next phase of their educational journey.

In addition to these rooms, we are proud to have a separate Montessori-inspired space where we seamlessly integrate Montessori principles and curriculum with our Te Whariki ECE curriculum, providing a holistic and well-rounded educational experience for our children.

We understand that the first five years of a child's life are incredibly significant and influential, which is why we strive to create a nurturing and supportive environment where they can thrive. We value the partnership between parents and teachers and recognize that you, as parents, have been the primary influence in your child's life. Therefore, we aim to continue that nurturing and support as they transition to our center.
