"What a joke.. Took our car in for a $60warrant $1,004.00 later! Took same vehicle in for a service another $1,094.00! Went in too swap tyres around and buy one new tyre only another $1027.00 spare tyre got swapped with a totally different rim and way smaller tyre doesn't even fit!"

"Very bad experience here for multiple reasons and I'm not normally one to put up reviews. I went here because of the good reviews but never again. 1. Overinflated service costs. On their website, the cost of a service ranges from $199-280 but I get a phone call saying it will be $380 for the service not including GST (every other Midas includes GST in their quotes so I found that weird)? 2. The WOF price was reasonable but then he says I need a $480 brake pad change. I call 2 other mechanics and they both quote me $200 for the same job. Absolutely ridiculous. 3. He also says I need an air filter change which I get checked at another mechanic who verified that I didn't. 4. He also said that I needed my battery changed which would mean my total bill was around $1300 not including GST. Crazy!! At least he agreed to charge me the website cost of $199 for the service after arguing with him but yes I decided to take my business elsewhere."

"I would like to take the onus to thank Dwayne and his entire team for repairing my Mercedes Rear View Mirror in extremely impeccable turnaround time. I contacted Midas Onehunga in the morning and the staff picked up my car in 2 hours and I got it repaired and delivered back on the same evening. I explained them that I had my marriage ceremony on the weekend and they went out all their way to arrange a rear view mirror and replacing it on an urgency basis. I cannot thank enough the entire team and the amazing customer service they provided, apart from the awesome repair job. Shall definitely recommend them to all and going forward Midas Onehunga is the place all my cars would be heading for any repairs/servicing. It was a breeze dealing with these guys. So so good:)"

"Came here to do my WOF for the first time with them. I checked my car prior to my inspection. I received a call afterwards that I needed to change one of my side-front light bulbs because it wasn’t working (weird as I checked at home before I handle my car). They told me it would JUST BE $55 dollars! I knew that was not the price to change a lightbulb! I told them I was gonna go, pick up my car, change the light bulb at home and come back. I stopped at Repco on my way to Midas, and guess what. The lightbulb I needed, was $5 A PAIR. I went to pick up my car and, surprisingly, they “changed my lightbulb for free”. I don’t trust these guys anymore."
