Welcome to Strait Marine Parts & Services, located at Gloaming Hill in Porirua, New Zealand. Our establishment is a point of interest for boat owners and enthusiasts in the Wellington region and beyond. Owned and operated by Phil Trowbridge, Strait Marine has been serving the boating community since April 2002.

What started as a mobile workshop quickly grew into something much more. Within six months, we became the exclusive Volvo Penta Dealer in the Wellington region. After six years, we expanded our offerings by taking on a joint agency with Yanmar, Mercury, and Cummins Onan Generators. With Phil's extensive firsthand experience in the boating industry, including two years as a relief engineer in the Mediterranean, we are well-equipped to handle all your boating needs.

At Strait Marine, we boast full workshop facilities capable of servicing all types of engines. From routine maintenance to complex repairs, our skilled technicians have the expertise to keep your vessel running smoothly. Additionally, we supply and install a wide range of equipment, from plumbing to electronics, ensuring that your boat is equipped with the latest technology.

Exciting news for 2022! Strait Marine has recently taken on the OXE Diesel Outboard and John Deere Agencies, further expanding our offerings to meet the evolving needs of our customers. We have also established a workshop on the Chatham Islands, collaborating with Chatham Food Company in Owenga. We take pride in our long-standing relationships with clients on the Chatham Islands, some of whom we have been serving for over 20 years.

But our services don't stop there. Strait Marine now maintains and services diesel motors running sprinklers on high-rise buildings, showcasing our growing industrial profile. Whether it's in-board, stern-leg, or sail-drive servicing and accessories, we have you covered. We specialize in total fuel systems, offering de-bug and filter systems to ensure optimal performance.
