Welcome to He Huarahi Tamariki Teen Parent Unit, located at 9 Matai Street in Wellington, New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest, we are proud to be a school that caters specifically to teen parents.

In partnership with the Correspondence School, He Huarahi Tamariki is dedicated to ensuring high academic achievement for our students. We believe in providing a well-rounded education, which is why we also offer an enrichment program that includes music, dance, craft, design, and civics.

At He Huarahi Tamariki, we understand the unique challenges that teen parents face. That's why our student support program goes beyond academics. We work closely with social agencies to provide assistance where needed, including transportation services, visits from a doctor, and student meals.

We also take pride in our strong sense of community. Past students are welcomed back to our institution for Prize Giving, allowing them to reconnect and celebrate their achievements.

Located in the beautiful suburb of Linden, our modern and purpose-built complex is designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our students and their children. In fact, we are delighted to house Kids Count, a highly successful Early Childhood Centre that caters to the children of our students.
