The history of dental care in Petone dates back many years, with our original location being the iconic Willis building on the corner of Jackson and Queen Street. This beautiful building, with its ornate facade and wood panelled rooms, now operates as a fine dining restaurant, adding to the charm of the area.

Our journey began at 20 Bay Street, where we started as a small dental practice in a converted house. With two clinical rooms and a waiting room in the original lounge, we provided personalized care to our patients. The kitchen served as our on-site laboratory, and x-rays were taken in the closet. Dr. Sarah Sutherland, affectionately known as the divine Sarah, practiced here before her retirement due to health issues.

Under the ownership of Walter Szeto, the practice thrived as a one-person surgery until Dikesh Parmar joined as a partner. In 2005, we relocated to our current premises at 272 Jackson Street, which previously housed a hair salon and a bank. Since then, Capital Dental Petone has grown into a bustling three-surgery family practice, offering the expertise of three dentists and two hygienists.

Convenience is at the heart of our practice, situated in the heart of Petone. Our dedicated team of dentists, nurses, and office staff are committed to providing exceptional dental care for your entire family. With over ten years of experience, we have been serving families in Wellington with premier treatment that lasts a lifetime.
