"This used to be our regular place to stay when coming to Auckland. Sadly ive watched Citylife get worse and worse over the past 2 decades. Now we no longer stay there. It used to be a great place. What happened?"
"We managed to book a room with a perfect view of the sky tower for new years fireworks display. Though the price was expensive for a night, it was all worth it. It was a lovely experience. The service we had from the reception staff was great. Clean rooms and spacious. Some issues in our room though, hence the 4stars. First the sink in one of the bathrooms was clogged and their centralised air conditioning was below par to say the least especially during summer."
"Stayed here on business. Was on a Zoom call in the morning that ran 5 minutes over time, and therefore 5 minutes passed 10am check out. Reception repeatedly called the room phone and then knocked on door to usher me out. Absolutely rude, particularly when I was gone by 10:10am. Won't return. Also, no restaurant/bar on arrival."
"We only stayed there one night as we came to Auckland a day early to embark on a cruise. The hotel is clean and the service was great. Our room was spacious and the bed comfortable - which we really appreciated after 25 hrs of travel from Nashville. It’s a great location. Dozens of shops, restaurants, and attractions are within walking distance."
