"Months back, after a rowdy party at Boneface where their patrons vomited, urinated, and congregated outside my window until after 3am, I wrote a negative review. The owner apologised and ensured me changes would be made. As such, I deleted my review. Which is why I’m disappointed to be here again. Last night there was extremely loud/heavy music blaring til late. I finally managed to fall asleep, only to be woken near 2am by a large group of patrons/staff/etc. gathering outside my window, loudly laughing and carrying on. I have time stamped photos, but won’t post them to protect the privacy of the individuals. I implore you to be a bit more courteous of your neighbours. There is no need for people to gather loudly outside of our windows late at night when leaving your venue. Edits in response to the owner: "I am sorry to hear that it caused you a disturbance when they left and I will be passing this on..." I understand that your business includes events, and don't hold that against you. However, I find it unnecessary for staff/bands/whoever to continue festivities outside my window - I don't think it's too much to ask to consider that I live here, and anything that loud should surely be able to take place within the venue itself. As such, I would appreciate you communicating that. "I would like to request that you no longer take photos of our staff without their knowledge. Regardless of whether you post it in a public forum or not, that is pretty invasive, especially considering some of those are young women. I'm confident if you had told them to keep it down..." As you're clearly an activist for young women, I'm sure you can appreciate that as a young woman myself, living alone for the most part, that a group of loud - predominantly - men, who've likely been drinking, outside my window late at night is intimidating, and as such, I am not inclined to approach. Taking pictures (from inside my house) is a security measure in such situations. Respectfully, I find it far more invasive that people gather outside the window of my home late at night to continue festivities, than me taking a picture (from inside my home, of disruption outside my house) to justify claims I'm making. In fact, I strongly refute your implication that my response to disruption caused by people at your venue is invasive. It's unnecessary to try shift blame onto me when something related to your venue (albeit, unintentionally) has compromised my peace/comfort within my home. To be frank, if people don't want to be photographed for disruptive behaviour outside my window, the solution seems simple. I would also like to note that this is, in fact, a concern that I raised with you previously. Having people outside (during all hours, not just leaving) gathering around my window in particular, when the loading bay is quite large, is not ideal for me. I'm not insinuating anything sinister about your staff, so please don't make any assumptions on what I've said. The only thing I wish to express is that it does cause discomfort to have people loitering around a window that looks into my home. Second edit: "Sorry to hear you felt that unsafe..." Appreciate your concern, however, I do/did not feel unsafe, and reiterate, I am not implying anything sinister about your staff. What I said was, addressing a group of men late at night post-drinking and asking them to be quiet is intimidating as a lone woman. "On that note, I checked the cameras... Doesn’t seem to corroborate at all with what you’ve said, so unfortunately there’s not much I can do." Just confirming that what you're implying here is that there were not at least 6 people being very loud noise my window from just after 1.20 for about 20 - 30 minutes that night? To my mind, that is "carrying on" - but perhaps we have differing definitions. Finally, let's not conflate different issues. I'm making a reasonable request that anyone affiliated with your venue, when in the loading bay, have some common courtesy for the people who live in the building."

"Extremely disrespectful to neighbours…again. Promised not to hold noisy parties after a nightmare of a night a few months ago, with blaring bass past 3 AM. I took down my previous one star review in good faith when I received what I thought was a sincere apology from the owner, but unfortunately, here we go again."

"Amazing food and friendly staff. If you are looking for a place to bring the family and friends, this is the one! The chef in the kitchen was kind enough to hand deliver the food to us, and it was incredible, wow!! what an experience!! Cheers to boneface, and the girl behind the bar with the blue hair!"

"We hired one side of the rooftop area for my sons' 30th birthday, and it was the best! Matt and the team were so accommodating of us. We decorated, brought our own music and, they had a bartender on the upstairs bar for us. The service and the food was amazing! So generous with the portions (they put together massive platters of bbq brisket, two kinds of fried chicken, coleslaw, corn on the cob and slider bread rolls). So good, we're still talking about it. Most of our party were Hospo and loved the Sunday Sesh vibe you guys brought to it. Thanks so much Matt and the team - obviously we'll be seeing you again soon :)"

"Beautiful beer bar with a great relaxed pub vibe. The glasshouse style roof makes it feel like you're outdoors while avoiding the inevitable Wellington winds. If you do want fresh air the rooftop bar and front deck have got you sorted! Lovely smoked meats on the food menu and plenty of vege and vegan options too!"
