NZ Council For Educational Research

The NZ Council For Educational Research is an esteemed establishment located at 10 Brandon Street in Wellington, New Zealand. As a point of interest in the education field, our institution is dedicated to the concept of whakatere tōmua, which translates to wayfinding. Wayfinding is at the heart of our work, as we aim to provide the best possible education experiences and outcomes for kaiako (teachers), ākonga (students), and whānau (families) through our research, resources, and services.

One of our notable achievements is the collaboration between academics at the University of Auckland Waipapa Taumata Rau and teachers in schools, resulting in an exceptional resource for educators. This book is an invaluable tool for teachers seeking to enhance their teaching methods and approaches.

In addition, we have conducted an evaluation of the Kia Takatū ā-Matihiko, National Digital Readiness Programme. This program, which was designed to support teachers, kaiako, principals, and tumuaki (school leaders), aimed to enhance their confidence and proficiency in utilizing digital technologies. Our evaluation provides valuable insights into the effectiveness and impact of this bilingual and bicultural initiative.
