Welcome to Madrasahtul Islamiyah, an Islamic learning institution located in Wellington, New Zealand. As an establishment, point of interest, and school, we are dedicated to providing a strong foundation of Islamic education to our students.

Madrasahtul Islamiyah focuses solely on elementary schooling, aiming to instill strong Islamic values, character development, and a deep understanding of Islam's teachings. We believe that investing in our children is the greatest investment any community can make. By developing them into individuals who are firm in their faith, cherish human values, honor their parents and elders, and become valuable assets to society, we can create a better future for our entire community.

Our courses are divided into four terms per year, aligning with the regular school term. Our Islamic curriculum, recognized worldwide, is designed for children aged 5-16 and is used in numerous English-speaking Muslim communities.

The Madrasah system itself is a blessing that has educated and saved many of us from neglecting our faith. At Madrasahtul Islamiyah, we strive to provide the best Islamic education and knowledge, preparing our children to grow up in an Islamic society and world. Our teachings are based on the Quran, the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and the way of life he exemplified. Our curriculum covers Arabic language, Quranic studies, Fiqh, Tafseer, Hadith, history, and philosophy.

Madrasahtul Islamiyah NZ Trust (MINT) is a charitable trust and non-profit organization with the primary objective of teaching the Qur'an and providing a quality Islamic education program, known as Tas-heel Syllabus, to benefit all residents in our community and surrounding regions.

While our dedicated team works on a volunteer basis, running a Madrasah comes with regular expenses. We rely on the help of Allah and donations from the community to cover these costs, provide better facilities to our students, and offer further education programs every year.
