Reviews
"Some connections to join up but we'll worth a walk. Wet in winter so be prepared with the correct footwear. Lots of variety and covers a big area."
"Nice and walk quiet walk. Saw few birds - crane, silver eye, pukeka"
"Excellent return walking trip on labour day from henderson with a picnic in between. Fave spot: see photo. Really enjoyed reading cute signs along the walk. Noticed the changes & loved seeing the loner black chicken doing his thing."
"Not a bad walk, easy walk, paved and timber walk ways for most of it. A few stairs and angles at the Northern end not suitable for wheelchair or push chairs. lots of parking points along the walkway for different start points. Toilet is at the southern end where its better suited for push chairs or wheelchair access. Great views of the city and nice when the tide is in. However, interesting when it's out too."
"Nice walk, but once you get on the 2nd bit of the beach you have to go up because of the mud flats. Once you go up then you can follow the path around and make a 10 km loop of it. It can be a bit muddy, but still a nice walk with a nice view of the city skyline."
