"While some of the staff here seem good at their jobs, the systems are very inefficient, no signage, and the process is very unclear. This place needs a complete system overhaul, long queues are the norm. I would not take any vehicle there for a wof check again. I have been to many wof and cof testing stations over the years as a car and truck mechanic with lots of traffic and this is by far the worst. I think part of the problem is tying to do the driver's license testing and vehicle testing with not enough trained staff. Be afraid..."

"Great service from the reception to the Inspector doing the WOF. He also gave me advise on how to get rid of a little moisture in one of my headlight lenses. Got there early and was out by 9."

"Michelle in reception is amazing. I came to get a COF and expecting to wait for ages but she made sure that I was provided some options. There were a few people at that time but she was able to treat everyone professionally, efficiently and with a smile. She made things happen. Very impressed."

"This is my second time coming here. If you are planning to get a WOF or do whatever you need to do with VTNZ do not ever come to this branch. It is very slow and you may end up waiting for many hours. As an example it takes more than 40 minutes up-to an hour per car (the three cars in front of me) to be checked. You can easily see that staff are taking their time unreasonably, joking, having their snack, other than working. Not recommended at all. The worst VTNZ I have ever experienced in NZ and no hope for any improvement given no changes since my last visit. Good luck. Their typical response is to lodge a complaint. I did it last time and nothing happened. I am the fourth one in the queue and I am still waiting around 3 hours. What could be the excuse?"
