"Experienced racism at the Flo and Frankie store despite wearing designer items (clearly not the type to steal) and being conscientious. Due to my mom’s skin color we were not acknowledged despite being the only ones in the store for five minutes. A sales assistant then rudely pushed past me without saying excuse me. As soon as she saw two white customers she went up and acknowledged them though they had barely entered the store. The store in Wellington has such lovely staff that I was shocked. Highly recommend Wellington. How I felt after wearing Queensgate is it doesn’t matter that I’m an investor and business owner that at this store being part brown and being with my brown mother makes me an undesirable. Edited to add that the older white woman who I take was the manager, with glasses saw all of the is happen and did not intervene or even acknowledge us."
