Choices Flooring Homecentre (Bendigo)

"Edit to add - 19/8/23 I've just had another room done through Choices and they did an amazing job. Staff were super friendly and the installer very professional - totally different experience than last time. ~-~ The sales process was easy, the sales staff were helpful with explaining the difference between different carpets to help narrow my search - the booking process was even easy and they managed to get the job in earlier than anticipated. The issues started after they were paid. I had to call the day before to ask what time I would expect the installer to be there as I would have expected a call from the Sales team to confirm the who/when of the install. The installer arrived on time (9am Thursday) and on arrival my mum had noticed that he had parked on my very wet front lawn instead of the driveway - fair enough he was having to lift large roles of carpet off the ute by himself. We later noticed that he had ripped the grass up when leaving. She had messaged me and said if it wasn't for the rolls of carpet she would have questioned whether he was from Choices because he didn't appear to represent the company and had assumed he was a subcontractor (unbranded ute, no work uniform, untidy, didn't confirm that the product ordered was the same as was about to be laid, no paperwork provided etc) When she had returned about 3pm she noticed that the off cuts from the carpet (which I had intended to use for another project) were gone but he had left the old carpet by the front door I called the store again to confirm and I was told he'd be back later to collect it. In the end I had to make 4 calls to Choices before the carpet was finally removed at 2pm Saturday."
