Salvation Army Family Store
About the Business
Welcome to the Salvation Army Family Store in Auckland, located at Dominion Road, 200. Our establishment is not just a home goods store, but also a point of interest and a place where you can make a difference in the lives of others.
At the Salvation Army, our mission is to care for people, transform lives, and reform society. We are proud to have helped over 120,000 families and individuals in need each year. Whether it's providing budgeting advice, food and clothing assistance, life skills programs, or simply offering comfort and support, we are here to lend a helping hand.
We are delighted to announce that our Territorial Commander has approved some exciting appointments, ensuring that our services continue to reach those who need them most. These appointments will take effect on Thursday, January 11, 2024.
Our institution is more than just a store. It is a place where the High Council chamber becomes a sacred place of prayer, where delegates from diverse ages, cultures, and backgrounds come together to participate in meaningful events like the Thought Matters conference.
Speaking of conferences, we are thrilled to announce that this year's conference is now open for registrations. We have an incredible keynote speaker lined up, ready to inspire and motivate attendees.
The Salvation Army is not just concerned with immediate needs. We are also actively engaged in pressing issues that affect our society. We are holding politicians accountable and asking them to explain how they will reduce child poverty. Additionally, we are addressing pressing matters related to jobs, incomes, and tax, advocating for policies that benefit the most vulnerable members of our community.

"Substandard. This op shop is hopeless - travel down further (around 600 Dominion Road) and you'll meet a better family store. When I asked where to put my wet brolley this person YELLED at me. I did not do anything wrong. I merely asked (politely) where to place my wet umbrella. When: 14/06/21 (14 July 2021), 1234 (12:34pm) Where: 200 Dominion Road Who: Female, white skin, brown hair, sky-blue scarf, navy Salvation Army shirt (short sleeves), navy knee-length skirt, dark stockings, black shoes, tall and lean Why: She is a bully What: Verbal bullying How: Nasty words, yelling i e.moderate verbal abuse I will leave and visit other stores. Never in my life I experienced this in any Salvation Army family store. p.s. This store is extravagant compared to other family stores. Not preferred"
