"Was happy the owner booked me on asap since my other lady cancelled. Saw the previous picture of a lady that got box braids and it looked nice however my braids were extremely thin at the ends and the ends started coming undone after not even a day. It looks so straggly . Paying $450 for this isn’t worth it. On top of that the owner kept stopping and talking on the phone which made the session at least an hour longer. Don’t recommend for box braids but other braids maybe"

"I have bought products from this shop through the years but have been disappointed with today’s customer service and got reminded why I actually lessened shopping there. The mother wasn’t there so I knew the daughter wouldn’t be nice but I walked in to buy what I wanted anyway. It felt like she didn’t want me to be there and asked what I want as if I have no right to browse for myself. Politely I said hair lotion and just looking. I said what I bought last time because I got it wrong she wasn’t impressed I thought it was coconut but it was jojoba oil. So I carried on and said I found it hard to use as it is not liquid and doesn’t come out from the bottle easily. She tried to tell me how she use it but had a bad tone when speaking. So I picked up a different product and then I said I want a Satin Night cap she was trying to point out but again god forbifd I got the place wrong her bad tone came out but I finally found it. Told me the price for two I paid all her interactions had a very bad vibe and tone. She said thanks while i walked out I didn’t reply. I am glad there are so many options now in Auckland including Farmers they do good deals actually . I have spent hundreds of dollars in this shop got my hair coloured few years ago buy hair products and usually number of products when I run out. I thought to go there as it is walking distance from my work. She has seem me before so many times it wasn’t like I was knew. I can’t understand why she was mean and rude. Never going back there again I will support other people small business. Please learn customer skill and also be nice yo your fellow Africans."
