About the Business
Welcome to the University of Auckland Quad, located at 34 Princes Street in Auckland, New Zealand. Our institution is a renowned establishment and a point of interest for students, faculty, and visitors alike.
One of the unique features of our university is the pioneering vending solution that we have implemented. Available 24/7, our refrigerated, fresh food, and dairy machines are strategically placed around all campuses. These machines offer a wide selection of up to 54 different choices of healthy and indulgent snacks and beverages, all at a competitive price. With this convenient option, you no longer have to leave campus to satisfy your cravings.
If you are organizing an event and are in need of prizes, or if you simply want to provide your group with a new lunch option on campus, our retail team now offers retail vouchers for purchase. These vouchers can be obtained from the Campus Store, conveniently located in the Quad. Feel free to speak to our friendly staff to learn more about this offering.
Our retail vouchers are available in $10, $15, and $20 variations and can be redeemed at all our on-campus retailers. This includes popular spots like Shadows bar, as well as non-food and beverage retailers like Unichem pharmacy and Ubiq.

"The quad has changed so much and is still evolving (especially since when I was a student) but looking forward to seeing it at its full potential once the surrounding projects are complete. It's still a sheltered space for staff, students and members of the public to enjoy food, pop into the campus store or just soak up the general campus atmosphere. Some new eateries: Nick's Kitchen, The Bowl (featured below) sells donburi bowls for $15.00 each. I had the karage chicken bowl and it was served to me (take away only) speedily but the chicken lacked seasoning so it was quite bland. Great texture (crunch for days) but just very bland in taste even with the sauces. Friendly staff and location is good too. Conscious Eats (in the spot where Jewel of India used to be) is super cheap with the daily special for $7.90c which includes an appetiser, main, salad and dessert. I'm not vegan at all but I did enjoy the vegan spin on a Mexican staple and the vegan "nuggets". I would go back for sure and their samosa ($4.00) is great portion wise and also delish. Prices have gone up so have been ordering the smaller plate. The salad is basic and basically large leaves. Would be better a better experience if it was chopped up or a cucumber salad with tomatoes would be ideal. My fave is still the vegan nuggets and samosa. Need to try their chips at some point!"
"Lots of vendors selling many kind of food and stuffs. However, it's now getting too pricey. Every Thursday they have market day. Now they added a lot more seats which is a long time due."
"Good service"
"Long wait and over priced."
